Hi, my name is Charles Lee. I am an independent musician, mostly in the rock genre though I will often do acoustic tracks. All my tracks currently have been recorded in nothing more than a regular mid-sized room, with a Blue Snowball Mic, my Fender American Stratocaster, my quirky voice, and GarageBand handling virtual instruments and mixing.
I am a huge music enthusiast. I enjoy many kinds of music including Rock (and its sub-genres), Hip-hop and R&B, Classical, Pop, and many more. My favorite hobby, besides making my own music, is to discover great music. And here in this blog, when I’m not promoting my own material, I want to present material that I feel deserve recognition. Otherwise, I’ll be providing tips so that more people can begin recording all the ideas they have and bring wonderful music to our world.
But most importantly, I want to live a life in recognition and thankfulness for all that I’ve been given. Our personal Savior rescued me when I was a freshman in college and I can’t describe in words just how grateful I am for all He’s done for me. Even though I find myself constantly failing, God still loves us, and He shows this through the price Jesus Christ paid for you and me on the cross.
I urge you to make it a priority to find answers and to aim higher than what’s in this world. I would love nothing more than to talk to you about my relationship with God, as imperfect as I am. I just pray that you might not see just me and my impurities in our talks but be able to see Christ and His Majesty.
My music stems from my desire to run after God. But rest assured, I will not show disrespect to your personal beliefs and I appreciate you taking the time to listen to my music. God bless you and I hope you thoroughly enjoy what you hear!
